Theres been a whole lot of stealin goin on!

Hello dear friend(s)

The most recent thing I have stolen was a bottle of fancy shampoo. This was at the request of my boyfriend. He apparently has a super dry scalp that needs some special love and attention. So we were at publix and had no intentions of paying $15 for a tiny shampoo bottle.

Other things I have stolen recently:
A shirt from American Eagle: it was on the sale rack, but there was no price! I was annoyed. I bought two other things from there, totally legit.
Hmmm...
Maybe thats it for now?
How about some things I plan on stealing?
Usually my stealing is spontaneous, but sometimes I know what I want. I need to get a beanie for the kid I babysit for and there is no way I'm payin $20 for that kid.

Definitely gonna steal that one.

Klepto-girl's mom comes to town

This weekend my mom dragged me from store to store running the most ridiculous errands. The whole day long I only stole one thing. A package of 8 Mr. Sketch markers. I really wanted to steal some glow bracelets too, but my mom was already in the check out line and there was really no stealthy way to go examine the glowy goodness.

There would definitely have been much more stolen if it hadn't been for my mom cramping my style, and for the numerous coupons that made things so cheap, they were practically being stolen anyway.

Now that my mom is gone, and the craziness of the end of the semester is beginning to settle in, there is a good chance that I will have much more to write about later this week.  I found out recently that the number of items stolen is correlated to the level of stress in my life.

Hello friends

A friend of mine gave me the idea to start a blog about all the things I steal.

I steal a lot. For absolutely no good reason. Most often I can afford what I'm stealing. Usually its not something I desperately need to survive. But I steal it anyway.

Places I usually steal from:

Wal-Mart (doesn't everybody?)
Target
Borders
Really Rich people

I'm going to go ahead and list the things I have stolen in the last week, just to catch you guys up.

• 2 bottle coozies- these are so overpriced in stores, I got mine from a rich person's vacation home

• 1 shark shaped bottle opener- this one is a gift for my boyfriend

• 1 ceramic starfish- this I actually feel slightly guilty about being an artist myself I know the person who made it was probably looking forward to the commission, but also being an artist I know it didn't cost $15 to slap to clay in a mold and dunk it in some glaze.

• 1 burts bees pomegranate chapstick- from a cracker barrel

• 1 16G flash drive- the floor of a rich person's car. they didn't even know it was there. I've already used it four times since then, the poor thing would have spent its life on that car floor if it wasn't for me. 

I haven't been to Wal-Mart recently, but when I make a trip this week I'm sure there will be plenty to blog about.
